Vollèges : Cries, our village, is only a part of Vollèges
A “commune” of six villages, four pastures; Vollèges occupies a privileged position on the southern slope of Mount Road which makes it one of the sunniest regions in Switzerland. Prestigious hotels used to attract wealthy tourists and lovers of pastoral landscapes .
This past tourist inspires the development of soft tourism oriented towards the discovery and enjoyment of unspoilt nature. Today the local products are the pride of this region and a cheese factory, in Etiez, offers visitors the opportunity to meet with the peasants.
